Ok, so the raw parts for this one
look a little rough at first. The top and bottom shells have iron
in them (for strength) so they tend to have small patches of oxidation
(surface rust). But it's just from being exposed to air - its only
cosmetic and once you cover with clay it will never be seen anyway!
Just wet-sand the metal a little and you are ready to cover with clay!
Add the hinge, and the flocked liner (after baking), and they look fantastic!
